This is the procedure of placing an artificial tooth root into the jawbone where a tooth is missing. By replacing the root with an artificial one, you will restore the functionality and comfort of the original tooth, while also having the aesthetic appearance of a real tooth.
Will this procedure be painful?
This procedure is virtually painless, however in the days following you may experience discomfort. After approximately a week, your dental implant should feel natural in your mouth.
What do I need to do after the procedure?
We will provide you with a set of instructions for the special care and treatment of your implant. Briefly, some common items are: getting plenty of rest, managing swelling, cleaning your mouth, restricting your diet, etc. You can always contact our office for anything out of the ordinary!
Implant Restoration
Despite dental implants having a very high success rate, they are still susceptible to wear and degradation in unpredictable ways. Should the unfortunate occur, where an implant is causing you pain or failing in functionality, Kaizen Dental will repair and restore your implant to full working order with a simple procedure.
